It's Not Easy Being Doodle

I made granola for breakfast today. After begging for it for a few minutes, Doodle taught me a new sound. It is a modified version of the "I'm lost/abandoned" Kee Kee. Instead of being a loud, urgent sound of distress, it is a very soft, solemn Kee Kee. It is accompanied by pacing to get me to look at her, a meaningful stare into my eyes to be sure we've made contact, and an equally (if not more) meaningful look at my granola. And repeat. Translated loosely it means, "I want your granola. Give me your granola. Why you no give me granola? The kingdom is lost. Woe is me. Woe is the world. Woe, woe, woe for the granola."

Has my mournful Ode to the Granola changed your mind?
No?
Human, your heart is made of stone.
